from Brooklyn ,
established in 2014,
Rebecca Mapes spent her childhood in Ithaca, relocating to Brooklyn to study at Pratt Institute. After gaining experience in the retail world at ‘In God We Trust,’ Mapes launched her jewelry line, Winden, named for her grandparents’ farm and inspired by her love for vintage and antique jewelry. With an ethical, sustainable mission, Mapes’ subtle, delicate pieces are equal parts nostalgic and modern, and made from mostly recycled materials sourced from small, US-based companies.
